Substances used in the operation of compressors such as air, oil and water become appropriate for use through the separator. Types of separators that serve as filtering are preferred in accordance with the working principle of the machine. The compressor works more accurately and safely through the separator filter. The separator located in screw compressor systems makes air, water and oil usable thanks to its special filter system. Liquid materials such as oil and fuel contain foreign materials such as sludge, sediment and water. In order for the compressors to work accurately, these substances need to access the machine in a pure and usable manner. The separator types, which successfully complete the decomposition process, take on a task of purification by purging the substances in the most accurate way by means of pumps. Most of the oil is separated from the air by centrifugal forces. The air-oil mixture enter the separator vessel at an angle so that most of the oil is pushed outside and drops into the oil vessel. This does not however remove all of the oil, as some is exists as droplets and mist. The oily compressed air is forced to flow through the separator and as it does, small droplets of oil get stuck, and eventually combine into larger droplets which then fall and collect at the bottom of the separator filter. The oil can then be sucked up and removed from system by a scavenge line (recycled and sent back to the compressor for lubrication).
